Outreach Specialist (Analyst III)
California’s financial regulator, the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI), protects consumers by examining and licensing financial activities and taking action against unfair, deceptive, or abusive practices. We oversee state-chartered banks, credit unions, student-loan servicers, and other financial entities. Offices are located in Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, and San Francisco.
About the role
DFPI is recruiting for one permanent, full-time Analyst III (Outreach Specialist) position in the Office of Public Affairs’ Targeted Outreach Unit, based in the San Francisco office. This recruitment may be used to fill subsequent vacancies within the next 180 days.

Requirements
- Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer-service duties. Academic education from an accredited college or university may be substituted year-for-year.
- An additional two years of professional analytical and/or technical experience, one year of which must be equivalent to an Analyst II level.
Pay
$6,623.00 – $8,290.00 per month. New state employees are hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable.
Schedule
Permanent, full-time, in-office position located in San Francisco.
