About the Role
The Analyst, Online Merchandising Solutions will drive process improvement and supplier engagement associated with the rapid assortment expansion of HD.com and subsequent required item troubleshooting. This role ensures team projects stay on-task and within project timelines, collaborates with Online Merchandising Solutions Manager(s) and leadership to prioritize projects, and owns team deliverables. The position involves developing day-to-day relationships with internal and external partners (e.g., Direct Fulfillment Merchants, HD.com business partners, suppliers) to support online data initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Business Acumen (40%): Serve as a subject matter expert, performing research and root cause analysis to resolve IDM support-related issues. Address management escalations promptly and ensure Level 1 support responds to supplier issues via hotline, chats, and tickets in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Identify and address training gaps.
- Project Support (30%): Plan and lead all phases of a project's lifecycle, including identifying business process optimization opportunities, prioritization, definition, and implementation of deliverables. Keep projects on schedule and ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Process Improvement (20%): Provide training to offshore and onshore users as needed. Educate internal teams on data flow and usage. Serve as the primary contact for data issues impacting consuming systems. Measure program effectiveness against organizational metrics and execute enhancements based on performance and feedback.
- Training/On-Going Support (10%): Author and facilitate end-user training on IDM processes, system features, and enhancements. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to support IDM initiatives.
- Manage supplier and item onboarding execution, Ambassador onboarding support for Premium accounts, troubleshooting, error resolution, and analysis of new supplier opportunities.
- Deliver top-tier customer service to Home Depot suppliers and internal partners, ensuring exceptional customer service ratings.
Requirements
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint), SQL/Google BigQuery, and advanced Microsoft Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data modeling).
- Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT).
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- 1-2 years of data analysis experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, data management, and/or process analysis and improvement.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Education: High school diploma or GED (additional education not required).
- Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

Travel & Physical Requirements
