Analyst, Online Merch Solutions

About the Role

The Analyst, Online Merchandising Solutions will drive process improvement and supplier engagement associated with the rapid assortment expansion of hd.com and subsequent required item troubleshooting. This role involves keeping team projects on-task and within project timelines, prioritizing projects with leadership, and owning team deliverables. The analyst will develop day-to-day relationships with internal and external partners (e.g., Direct Fulfillment Merchants, HD.com business partners, suppliers) to support data initiatives online. Responsibilities include monitoring data transformation and resolving issues related to incorrect mapping, business rules, and data deviations.

This role serves as the primary point of contact for a simple and seamless supplier experience with HomeDepot.com, managing supplier onboarding execution, troubleshooting, error resolution, and analysis of new supplier opportunities. The analyst will deliver top-tier customer service to Home Depot suppliers and internal partners, ensuring exceptional customer service ratings.

Responsibilities

• Attend merchant meetings and identify/facilitate Online Merchandising Solutions (OMS) requests (10%).
• Lead assortment growth projects, status reporting, item troubleshooting, and attribute maintenance. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product categories online. Learn and report on best practices, industry standards, and legal requirements associated with assigned categories (40%).
• Measure ongoing effectiveness of programs against metric targets. Develop and execute enhancements and business process optimization strategies based on performance metrics and customer feedback (30%).
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve operational needs (e.g., store SKU alignment, online product availability). Author clear, concise end-user and training materials for processes (20%).

Education

Schedule & Travel
