Analyst, IS Business Analysis
Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)
Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires
About the Role
As a member of the IS Supply Chain team, you will participate in planning, design, and support activities related to EDI systems and integrations. This includes day-to-day support operations and tactical enhancements. This role requires active team participation, excellent communication skills, problem solving ability, critical thinking, a commitment to quality deliverables, and teamwork with other team members. The position will focus primarily on supporting scalable solutions to integrate a variety of internal, on-premise Supply Chain applications as well as internal and external cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provides business user support by:
- Ensuring reliable and effective operations by monitoring and providing daily analysis of transactions
- Ensuring that errors and requests are processed successfully and promptly
- Performing troubleshooting, analysis, problem solving, exception handling, and re-processing of transactions as needed
- Participating in an on-call rotation
- Assists team members with various project deliverables including, but not limited to:
- Onboarding of new trading entities and transactions
- Developing, unit testing, and implementing electronic transaction interfaces with customers, suppliers, and 3rd party business partners
- Having direct interaction with customers, suppliers, and 3rd party partners in analysis of their data requirements and transaction/message specifications
- Adhering to and supporting the use of I/S standards for best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, equivalent experience, or specialized training in Information Technology
- Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical requirements
- Experience implementing Supply Chain related transaction and messaging structures such as EDI ANSI X12, JSON, and XML

- A resourceful and innovative problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of either a technical and non-technical nature
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with high attention to detail
- Strong coordination, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to build/maintain strong relationships and effectively partner with peers
Skills
- SQL or other development skills (preferred but not required)
