Analyst, Investor Solutions
Purpose and Job Summary
NXT Capital is seeking a junior team member to support ongoing program management, analyze investment performance, and facilitate communication with Limited Partners (LPs) and third-party service providers. Additionally, the Analyst will contribute to the evaluation of fund structures and transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the offering process of deals being sold to programs and prepare memos, assignment agreements, and participation certificates to facilitate new asset sales and deal modifications.
- Ensure timely delivery of proper documentation.
- Track program capital needs and deployment activity.
- Maintain a strong understanding of portfolio composition, investment guidelines, and program requirements.
- Act as a liaison across multiple groups within NXT Capital, including investor solutions, direct lending deal teams, finance, operations, legal, and compliance.
- Execute and track FX hedging in coordination with treasury and external partners.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of NXT’s loan platform and investor solutions programs, including investment guidelines and program reporting requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of marketing presentations for prospective and current investors.
- Assist with CLO and Bank Credit Facility monitoring and reporting.
- Provide ad hoc investor requests and analysis.
- Maintain and enhance fund/program-level financial models, ensuring accuracy and consistency of model assumptions.
- Evaluate new program structures, including fee mechanics and capital deployment considerations.
- Analyze and articulate key return drivers of legacy funds to support investor diligence and inquiries.
- Recommend and assist in implementing process changes, corrections, and data improvements.
- Contribute to ORIX-wide asset management initiatives and support process improvements using AI as appropriate.
- Support cash management for various programs.
- Assist with ad hoc Request for Proposals (RFPs) and due diligence requests.
Education, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (finance, business, accounting, or a related field preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant asset management, portfolio management, financial analysis, accounting, or analytics experience within a financial services or asset management company.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with senior management, investors, service providers, and internal constituents.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and modeling skills with exposure to data & analytics software tools (proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint).
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills needed to enhance business decision-making and current processes using data and technology.
- Motivated, self-starter with confidence to handle high-priority initiatives and facilitate day-to-day needs of diverse reporting user community.
- Excellent organizational skills, with ability to handle a wide variety of responsibilities and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail.
- Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and a self-starter.
Pay
Annual base salary gross: $90,000 - $110,000 (IL only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of ORIX’s salary for this position based on geography. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX’s total compensation package for employees.
