About the role
As an Analyst, Innovation Finance, you will play a key role in supporting profitable growth across One Hershey’s innovation pipeline. Partnering closely with Marketing, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, and Business Development teams, you will provide financial analysis and insights that help shape innovation decisions. This role offers a unique opportunity to build business acumen, influence leadership decision-making, and help drive sustainable growth through enhanced financial visibility and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze Innovation P&Ls, partnering cross-functionally to ensure accurate assumptions and financial recommendations.
- Develop reporting and insights that increase visibility into the financial impact of innovation projects and support business decision-making.
- Support innovation-focused transformation initiatives, including financial frameworks and strategic guardrails related to mix and margin performance.
- Perform data acquisition, cleansing, and analysis to generate actionable SKU-level and customer-level insights.
- Help standardize reporting, streamline processes, and identify opportunities to automate and digitize ways of working.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and anticipate financial questions from senior leaders to support innovation project reviews and recommendations.
Requirements
- Up to 3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into business insights.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
