ANALYST INFORMATION

Job Responsibilities

• Acts as primary accounting support to the South and Southwest Florida Aggregate operations.
• Works with vendors and the CEMEX procurement organization.
• Led the spare part inventory count twice annually.
• Calculates finished and raw material inventory variances twice annually.
• Creates purchase orders and check requests for the environmental department, public relations, and limited other needs.
• Participates in the timely and accurate preparation and/or review of all significant financial information provided to Division, Region and Corporate management related to these sites.
• Participates in operational benchmarking and other monthly performance analysis.
• Supports the Engineering department with project cost tracking, monthly reporting and creation of purchase requisitions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of financial management experience; Industry experience helpful.
• Computer literate, in SAP and PC based applications.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Current knowledge regarding the conceptual framework underlying financial accounting.
• Diplomacy and ability to function as a leader in a team environment.
