Duties

Under general direction of the Supervisor II (Personnel Officer), the incumbent performs the more responsible, varied and complex technical and analytical duties in the Classification & Pay (C&P) programs and Position Control. The Analyst III ensures to provide consultative services regarding classifications allocations, duty statements, salary savings, reporting structures salaries, appointments. The Analyst III is expected to maintain confidentiality regarding various personnel-related matters. Provides support to departmental management on classification, allocation guidelines, personnel policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties.
  Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis;
  And An additional two years of professional analytical and/or technical experience, one year of which must be equivalent to an Analyst II.

Opened in 1916, DSH-Metropolitan State Hospital is in the vibrant community of Norwalk,15 miles east of Los Angeles. DSH-Metropolitan State Hospital has an open campus within a security perimeter. The hospital operates approximately 826 beds.
