About the role

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) has implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) effective July 1, 2025. This program requires a 3% reduction in pay in exchange for five (5) hours of leave credits through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.

Responsibilities

  • Independently provides direct support to internal and external customers to ensure compliance with HR policies, processes, procedures, rules, laws, and regulations.
  • Participates in and/or performs the most difficult and sensitive compliance review activities and special projects.
  • Researches and prepares responses to employee grievances on behalf of HR.
  • Functions as CDCR’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Employer Pull Notification (EPN) Program Coordinator.
  • Assists and provides backup duties to HR’s Legislative Coordinator.

Requirements

Individuals eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position.

Qualifications

Under general direction of the Supervisor II, Compliance and Administrative Services Unit (CASU), in a customer service-oriented team environment, the Analyst III independently supports HR compliance and special projects.

Working Conditions

This position is headquartered at 9825 Goethe Road in Sacramento. It provides hybrid telework opportunities. The successful candidate must reside in California.
