About the role
Responsible for leading a team of software developers in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and quality assurance engineers to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development process, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Design and implement new features, bug fixes, and enhancements based on user feedback and business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and maintainability.
- Participate in testing and debugging phases to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Document design decisions and code changes for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in software development.
- Experience with at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
Skills
- Proficiency in software development tools and technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
