About the role

This position supports CDPH's mission and strategic plan by performing program analysis activities in health facilities licensed by the Department, to determine compliance with state and federal licensing and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Uniform application and enforcement of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to operations, policies, and procedures
• Review contractual agreements, supplies, personnel, Disaster and Quality Assurance programs, environmental conditions, and other non-clinical related services of health facilities to determine compliance with the California Code of Regulations, and Health and Safety Code
• Conduct site visits and travel extensively

Qualifications

• Work under the direction of a Nurse Surveyor Supervisor I
• May receive guidance from Nurse Surveyor staff during site visits

Pay

• Analyst II: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 A
• Analyst I: $3,861.00 – $4,839.00 A / $4,181.00 – $5,233.00 B / $5,014.00 – $6,276.00 C
• New to State candidates hired into minimum salary of classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable

Schedule

• Permanent, full-time position
• Hybrid telework schedule may be available in accordance with CDPH's Telework Policy and Procedures
• Subject to Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025: 3% monthly base pay reduction in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027 (salary ranges shown do not reflect this reduction)
