About the role
This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by working as an Analyst II as the Lean Transformation Analyst by maintaining a proactive culture of continuous quality improvement, engaging staff at all levels, and leveraging data and technology to enhance services.
Responsibilities
- Actively promote and support Lean Transformation across CDPH while employing Lean & Continuous Improvement tools and behaviors to support teams in efforts to observe and analyze complex problems in all areas of CDPH
- Test improvements and implement associated improvements to eliminate waste, enhance customer service, and increase program impact
- Work independently within a team environment and collaborate on efforts to ensure that OPP supports the development of sustainable organizational capacity in CDPH to deliver high value public health services to the people of California
About the Office of Policy and Planning (OPP)
The mission of OPP is to advance transformative policy and systems change that will promote state and community health improvement through prevention, equity, and collective action. OPP promotes public health policy priorities and supports CDPH capabilities for community health improvement, policy development, research and analysis, integrated planning, decision intelligence, lean transformation, and grants management.
Pay
- Classification: ANALYST II
- Salary range: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 A
- New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable
