Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for clinical applications, maximizing system effectiveness and uptime.
  • Manage system upgrades, hardware/software lifecycle planning, and cloud migrations.
  • Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to refine workflows and bridge solution gaps.
  • Aid in EMR integration and interface coordination to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
  • Conduct end-user training and serve as liaison between clinical teams and IT.
  • Track project status, report on milestones, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support Active Directory and basic network configurations related to system access.
  • Develop and maintain system security policies.
  • Maintain data integrity, consistency and patient privacy.
  • Document system change management policies and procedures.
  • Document system acceptance testing procedures and results for new systems/applications and upgrades.
  • Communicate system changes and upgrades to end users.
  • Document end user feedback for system modifications and improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 7 years experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in an IT application development role.
  • Software development experience with Microsoft tools (e.g., .Net Framework (2.0, 3.0, 3.5), C#, ASP.Net, TFS & SQL Server).
  • Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, IIS, SharePoint Server and/or BizTalk not required but beneficial.
  • Experience with process improvements.
  • Healthcare experience a plus.

Pay

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $67,000- $101,000, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
