Analyst I

About the role

The incumbent is assigned program-related responsibilities that ensure effective interpretation and implementation of the Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act of 1975 (Act), the California Code of Regulations, Title 28 (Regulations), Federal Health Care Reform, Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) and program policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a difficult and complex nature involved in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluating administrative activities within the Office of Plan Licensing (OPL).
• Establish this position and make appointment contingent upon Department of Finance approval.

Requirements

• Minimum requirements include the ability to organize and establish simultaneous workload priorities and work under pressure.
• Desirable qualifications include professional communication skills, reasoning ability, and experience in general licensing processes.
• Knowledge and/or experience working with the Act, and experience using DMHC eFiling or proprietary database systems are desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include the ability to reason well and use good judgment.
• Desirable qualifications include dependability, punctuality, and excellent attendance.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint is desirable.

Skills

• Ability to professionally communicate both orally and in writing.
• Reasoning ability and good judgment.
• Independently work and effectively collaborate with others.

$3,861.00 - $4,839.00 A $4,181.00 - $5,233.00 B $5,014.00 - $6,276.00 C
