Analyst-HR Administration
Position Overview
Aid in providing data and analytical insights to support and enhance HR best practices within Human Resources Administration (HRA) through complex analysis, testing, reporting, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
Essential Functions
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Maintain FXF regulatory compliance for state, local, and federal requirements for postings
- Work with all functions, including Legal, to ensure compliance with FXF regulations and avoid penalties, fines, or potential litigation
- Assist in identifying control weaknesses and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Analyze data methods, evaluate, develop, test, and implement HRA processes
- Create and maintain project vision and scope initiatives
- Develop and validate queries for reporting and database analysis while collaborating with HR Technology to ensure data integrity
- Create and complete necessary testing and documentation for new HRA features, upgrades, and conversions
- Research new system functionality and applications for implementation, working with relevant functions (e.g., HR Technology, Operations Research)
- Maintain HRA procedure documentation for new processes, changes to existing processes, and system enhancements
- Develop and update training materials for end users and participate in training sessions as required
- Continuously transition existing reporting processes and deliverables into more efficient visualization (Oracle, Spotfire, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve data issues
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, human resources, statistics, or a related field, plus two (2) years’ experience in human resources or data analysis
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Office 365, PowerAutomate, Forms, SharePoint, etc.
- Knowledge of data-driven web-based applications (QMF, SigmaXL) preferred
- Experience using data mining tools and data visualization: Statistical Analysis Software (SAS), Structured Query Language (SQL), Spotfire, and Oracle, preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, and outside vendors
- Self-starter who can think independently and works well with others
- Must be able to handle sensitive data with discretion
- Good analytical and problem-resolution skills, including troubleshooting
- Knowledge of human resources and system business processes and practices, preferred
- Project management experience, preferred
