Analyst, GFO, Remittance Processing
About The Team
The Finance team is responsible for global financial support in four key areas: Global Financial Operations (GFO), Financial Management Accounting (FMA), Tax and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). The team covers everything from back-office functions like payroll and customer billing to tax compliance and budget forecasting.
About The Role
Under minimum supervision, performs specified duties of some diversity related to the department's activities. Involves some independent judgment and a detailed knowledge of the department or company policies. Maintains records and prepares reports as needed. Duties may include email, Verint account look up/transactions, report compilation and equipment operation. Demonstrates the ability to effectively service internal and external customers as defined within the work unit. Maintains productivity and quality requirements as related to business unit goals. Receptive to constructive feedback, actively seeks coaching, and in conjunction with manager, establishes and follows through on personal development plan. Ability to work well in a team environment.
You will report to the Remittance Processing Sr Manager and be based in Chicopee Massachusetts.
Duties
- Execute day-to-day global financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of back-office transactions, such as customer billing or payroll.
- Analyze financial data, operational metrics, and workflows to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and improve process efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support financial compliance and execute operational goals.
- Maintain productivity/quality requirements as related to the business unit goals.
- Handle internal/external customer and/or vendor contacts.
- Maintain/distribute reports utilizing Excel or Word and Google Forms.
- Work as needed with Marketing team, Customer Service Team, IT Team, and Mailing Ops Team.
- Work in Refund Hub on processing refund check requests.
- May require payment and refund check research using Verint, Filenet, JP Morgan Cashpro site.
- Work in a Mail Center Environment, packing orders, shipping orders, lifting up to 45 pounds, working power jack and/or manual jack.
- Process shipments/outgoing mail using UPS or USPS.
- Operate letter inserting equipment.
- Operate X-ray equipment to insure safety of all incoming parcels or other mail.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of prior experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related corporate finance role.
- Proficiency in financial systems, data analysis, and supporting back-office processes.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy, process efficiency, and problem-solving.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred not required.
