About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (Profit Consolidation), the Financial Analyst will be responsible for performing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and preparing variance reports. The Financial Analyst will also be in charge of providing financial support to the management team, prepare projection reports, conducting financial reporting, and preparing marketing budgets and forecasts. The financial analyst will be using Excel and SAP extensively.
Responsibilities
- Compiles the annual SG&A budgets by Cost Center for ASICS America Corp. (AAC), and coordinates updates/changes with the Cost Center owners. Align Top-Down targets to Bottom-Up build and loading the updates to SAP and BPC in a timely manner.
- Generates Forecasted SG&A (January, April, July, October, as well as interim requested updates) by reporting Channel (Wholesale, Retail, eCom) including ancillary details, coordinating with Marketing stakeholders (including individual Cost Center owners as needed).
- Performs monthly analysis on actual expense variances to budget across all AAC Cost Centers and Business Channels (Balance Sheet and Income Statement), including scheduling and conducting Monthly AAC Cost Center SG&A Budget Review meetings.
- Manages the marketing expense activity list and provides marketing split by product category on a monthly basis.
- Assists in the preparation of other Budget areas, such as Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, including obtaining input from key business partners (Cash Manager, Credit Manager, and others), as needed.
- Assists in the preparation of Sales, COGS, and GP Budgets, Forecasts and Analyses as available and determined by FP&A Manager. This may include working with business partners (Sales, Planning, Operations, and others) to further refine our processes and visibility.
- Performs Value-Add functions as identified based on analyses and trends, such as cost reductions (efficiency factors), reduction of suppliers/vendors (consolidation of purchases), KPI's, Cost-Benefit analyses, and other measurements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years experience as a Financial Analyst or similar position required.
- Experience with SAP and BPC preferred.
- Intermediate-level experience using Microsoft Excel required.
- Computer skills: Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
Skills
- Solid knowledge of general accounting and financial planning.
- Knowledge in Excel functions and modeling, including the use of pivot tables and macros for financial analysis.

Pay
Min: $70,304 Max: $72,000
