Analyst, ESOP Advisory

About the role

The Commercial Banking Analyst reports to the ESOPs Advisory Head and will play an important role assisting senior bankers and management with information management and content creation that supports the ESOP group’s strategic objectives. This role uses independent judgement in the design and creation of effective materials and reporting that will express initiatives and vision of the business. The role requires support for complex projects that may involve adhering to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and manages projects for the ESOP Advisory team, including translating directions into executable plans, problem solving with team members and partners, conducting research and analysis, and ensuring project closure.
• Creates content to support executive and client/prospect presentations, board materials, leadership routines, town halls, and other forums (presentations, agendas, executive summaries, action items, spreadsheets, etc.).
• Maintains Teams/SharePoint site and content.
• Supports and contributes to the development of the ESOP Advisory business’ strategy, strategic plan, and related strategic initiatives.
• Analyzes data and makes recommendations based on results to discern insights and support decision making.
• Supports other members of the business with special projects, content creation, analysis, and research as required.
• Uses independent judgement and discretion to support ESOP lending decisions.
• Analyzes and resolves problems pertaining to ESOP commercial banking.
• Performs special projects and additional duties as required.
• Adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards; completes required compliance trainings and maintains compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum experience required: Entry level; internships in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to create executive level presentations.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Project management knowledge and/or experience (preferred).
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• High degree of curiosity and learning agility.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong time management.
• Ability to rotate across multiple projects / tasks, prioritizing appropriately.

Pay

Pay range: $52,570.50 - $86,911.00
