Analyst, ESOP Advisory

About the role

The Commercial Banking Analyst reports to the ESOPs Advisory Head and will play an important role assisting senior bankers and management with information management and content creation that supports the ESOP group’s strategic objectives. This role uses independent judgement in the design and creation of effective materials and reporting that will express initiatives and vision of the business. The role requires support for complex projects that may involve adhering to tight deadlines.

Physical demands (ADA): No unusual physical exertion is involved.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and manages projects for the ESOP Advisory team. This involves independently translating directions to executable plans, and problem solving with other team members and partners to achieve stated outcomes, conducting research and analysis as needed to inform the project, and ensuring projects are brought to closure.
• Creates content to support executive and client / prospect presentations, board materials, leadership routines, town halls, and other forums. Content may take the form of presentations, agendas, executive summary and action items, spreadsheets, or other.
• Maintain Teams / SharePoint site and content.
• Supports and contributes to the development of the ESOP Advisory business’ strategy, strategic plan, and related strategic initiatives.
• Analyzes data and makes recommendations based on the results to discern insights and support decision making.
• Supports other members of the business with special projects, content creation, analysis, and research, as required.
• Uses independent judgement and discretion to support ESOP lending decisions.
• Analyzes and resolves problems pertaining to ESOP commercial banking.
• Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.
• Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum experience required: Entry level; internships in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to create executive level presentations.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
