Analyst/Developer - General 3

About the role

This position gathers requirements, provides work estimates, prepares functional designs, prototypes, and develops integration solutions for production implementation. The role works with a global team to create back-end integrations that move data between systems while providing web-based real-time status reporting. Development work focuses on AWS Lambda technology using Python. Candidates will need to learn SnapLogic if not already fluent.

Responsibilities

• Provide work estimates associated with completing tasks
• Understand deployed solutions and support functional changes as needed
• Drive software solutions through the Software Development Lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and support
• Work with business partners to understand challenges and provide solutions
• Assign tasks to other developers located in other regions of the world
• Create architecture diagrams and design documentation
• Implement both API and ETL-based integration architectures

Interaction With Team

• Work with business partners, project managers, and architects
• Collaborate with a global team of 15-20 members, including internal business partners and developers
• Direct team consists of 4 CAT employees in the US and other developers located in India

Requirements

• Degree with 5+ years of experience in this capacity or no degree with 8+ years of experience
• IT-related experience in application development, support, and architecture
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience working with major applications serving thousands of global users

Pay

$60–63 per hour

Schedule
