Summary
The main function of an Analyst/Developer is to develop and design web applications, websites, and digital learning content. A typical Analyst/Developer is responsible for content creation, enhancement, maintenance, and ensuring materials meet established organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, or maintain websites using authoring tools, scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.
- Identify issues uncovered through testing or user feedback and implement corrective actions.
- Develop learning modules on rental and used equipment topics using Articulate 360/RISE.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate content and gather feedback.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure learning content aligns with established standards and guidelines.
- Support content enhancements and ongoing maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Associate degree may be considered.
- 1–2 years of relevant professional experience required. Internship experience alone will not satisfy the experience requirement.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in the production of drawings and models.
- Instructional design experience.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and multimedia development tools.
- Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Experience with Articulate 360/RISE.
- Experience with LMS platforms.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to simplify complex topics into clear and engaging learning content.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
Work Environment
- Office-based work environment.
- Works closely with Learning Consultants and Subject Matter Experts.
- Regular interaction with stakeholders to develop and improve learning content.
