About the role
We are seeking an experienced Analyst/Developer – Specialty 3 to help build enterprise-scale backend services and integrations supporting simulation, digital twin, and cloud-native platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on backend development, APIs, distributed systems, and large-scale platform integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support backend microservices and APIs
- Build REST and gRPC integrations across enterprise platforms
- Develop cloud-native services and distributed applications
- Design and implement event-driven and asynchronous workflows
- Deploy and maintain services in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
- Troubleshoot complex integration, performance, and reliability issues
- Define API, event, and data contracts for platform integrations
- Build observability, monitoring, and integration testing solutions
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, and partner teams
- Contribute to technical standards, documentation, playbooks, and best practices
- Support digital twin, simulation, and platform integration initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience building backend services and APIs
- Proficiency with at least one of the following: Python, Java, Spring Boot, Go
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with REST APIs and integration services
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of digital twin concepts and simulation workflows
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms and services
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools
- Experience creating engineering standards, documentation, or playbooks
- Experience mentoring engineers and supporting technical leadership initiatives
- Exposure to NVIDIA, simulation platforms, robotics, autonomy, or physical AI environments
