Job Qualifications
- Associates degree, or five years of experience in a manufacturing environment fulfillment or analyst role.
- Familiarity with 5-Whys and Fishbone diagram methods of problem solving.
- Good written communication and telephone skills.
- Computer (MS Office) and SAP experience is required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in high stress situations.
- Must have a leadership mentality with a structured approach to problem solving.
- The ability to make discretionary and independent decisions that support the customer and protect the Company at the same time.
Essential Functions
- Direct contact with the customer.
- Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to analyze demand vs. inventory on hand and production schedules to determine if there will be any short shipments or expedites required.
- Work together with production teams and outside supplier planners in formulating a plan to provide on-time and in-full shipping to customers.
- Planner functions – FCA backs up as needed.
- Escalate to business partners if any issues arise in meeting customer demand.
- Review, approve and release incoming EDIs, spot buy shipping releases and manual orders.
- Access and Respond to Customer Portals/Websites.
- Update SAP system to show all of the correct information (e.g. dates & demands in SAP for MRP team).
- Monitoring of customer ratings/scorecards, communicate and challenge as necessary.
- Controlling team KPIs and initiate actions accordingly.
Additional Responsibilities
- Responsibility for adherence to deadlines, quality and costs within the objectives and budget.
- Claim processing and determination of corrective measures.
- Visualization of group results and targets.
- Aid in creating work instructions and process documentations as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Utilize company tools/software to facilitate role.
