Analyst, Customer Fulfillment

Job Qualifications

• Associates degree, or five years of experience in a manufacturing environment fulfillment or analyst role.
• Familiarity with 5-Whys and Fishbone diagram methods of problem solving.
• Good written communication and telephone skills.
• Computer (MS Office) and SAP experience is required.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in high stress situations.
• Must have a leadership mentality with a structured approach to problem solving.
• The ability to make discretionary and independent decisions that support the customer and protect the Company at the same time.

Essential Functions

• Direct contact with the customer.
• Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to analyze demand vs. inventory on hand and production schedules to determine if there will be any short shipments or expedites required.
• Work together with production teams and outside supplier planners in formulating a plan to provide on-time and in-full shipping to customers.
• Planner functions – FCA backs up as needed.
• Escalate to business partners if any issues arise in meeting customer demand.
• Review, approve and release incoming EDIs, spot buy shipping releases and manual orders.
• Access and Respond to Customer Portals/Websites.
• Update SAP system to show all of the correct information (e.g. dates & demands in SAP for MRP team).
• Monitoring of customer ratings/scorecards, communicate and challenge as necessary.
• Controlling team KPIs and initiate actions accordingly.

Additional Responsibilities

• Responsibility for adherence to deadlines, quality and costs within the objectives and budget.
• Claim processing and determination of corrective measures.
• Visualization of group results and targets.
• Aid in creating work instructions and process documentations as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Utilize company tools/software to facilitate role.
