Position Overview
This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, at our corporate HQ in Tempe, Arizona. This is an individual contributor position in Network Operations and Planning responsible for implementing, monitoring, and resolving real time constraints in the operations schedule. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor current schedule efficacy to maximize system objectives for quality, speed, cost, and customer delivery.
- Implement, and modify as needed, the operation schedule to align with actual demand, system constraints, resource adjustments, and operation irregularities.
- Make real-time changes to the operation schedule to minimize customer impacts.
- Identify upstream defects in the network planning process and make recommendations to improve and maintain network health.
- Discover, understand, resolve, and prevent network capacity and demand constraints.
- Provide recommendations on optimize design and execution of network plan.
- Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion consistent with strategic goals.
- Timely communicate to stakeholders information affecting network plan and coordinate resolution in response to network capacity and demand constraints.
What The Job Requires
- Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years equivalent experience, in quantitative discipline such as supply chain, engineering, operations or STEM.
- Expert knowledge of Excel and/or GoogleSheets.
- Experience with scheduling software, demand modeling, transportation management systems and/or geographic information systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral.
- Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional, courteous manner.
- Ability to maintain high volume and high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work in an office environment, with extensive use of computers.
- Ability to work variable schedule(s) as necessary.
