About the role
The Analyst/Scheduler position supports the MSFC Cross Program System Integration (CSI) Project, providing comprehensive schedule development, maintenance, and data analysis support to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Track all FTWG deliverables, milestones, and schedule critical paths.
- Maintain visibility of activities related to product development, delivery, and change requests (CRs).
- Provide routine schedule updates to the Mission Management/Systems Engineering FAL for integration with other integrated task teams.
- Coordinate with project POC's to ensure schedule accuracy, consistency, alignment of dates, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly, biweekly, and monthly summary reports for Cross Program Integration Team (CPIT) management.
- Generate data-driven insights, schedule status summaries, and analysis products supporting periodic reviews.
- Independently monitor, validate, and manipulate large datasets.
- Identify anomalies, trends, and correlations to support decision making.
- Perform data quality checks and integrate data for cross program analyses.
- Prepare and deliver analysis results for CSI status reviews and program assessments.
- Integrate top-level milestone schedules.
- Prepare charts and materials for upper management presentations, including MPRs and CMC reviews.
- Participate in project meetings, presenting schedule updates, risks, and metric summaries.
- Prepare briefing charts, technical content, and schedule-based visuals.
- Develop and maintain metrics and documented schedules for Artemis missions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Extensive experience with schedule development tools (MS Project, Primavera, Milestones Professional, etc.)
- Experience supporting NASA or DoD program planning, control, and scheduling activities
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and develop meaningful metrics
- Strong communication skills for coordination across multiple functional areas and programs
- Experience conducting schedule health checks and critical path analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Understanding of integrated schedule development processes for multi-program environments
Desired qualifications
- Basic understanding of EIA 748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable
- Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) a plus
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 - $139,300.00.
