Analyst - Crash & Safety

Duties

• develop vehicle safety systems for next generation vehicles, starting from block diagram architecture phase
• work with Advanced Vehicle Crash Safety and Program Design teams
• define safety system content and influence architecture that ensures vehicle platform targets are met
• perform CAE analysis and work with test engineers to develop vehicle safety systems
• analyze test data and CAE results
• liaise with automotive suppliers and global teams to build, test and verify safety systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, civil engineering, engineering mechanics, automotive systems engineering, or related field
• Two years of experience in a CAE engineering or related position
• Two years of experience in all of the following:
• pre- and post-processors (LS-Prepost, HyperMesh, HyperView, ANSA, META, or Primer)
• FEA simulation software (LS-Dyna)
• CAD software (CATIA)
• application of NCAP and FMVSS regulations
• DFMEA
