About the role
The Toyota Safety Department is seeking a Safety Analyst to oversee Industrial Hygiene & Chemical Safety programs at the TMMAL Engine Plant.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of Industrial Hygiene & Chemical Safety programs
- Supporting the Site’s unique safety needs
- Supporting the Regional Safety Group objectives
- Developing and administering the Site’s chemical monitoring program
- Supporting new chemical reviews/approvals
- Resolving potential chemical exposures
- Providing new hire safety orientation training
- Partnering with various groups on safety issues
- Interpreting and applying OSHA 1910.126 Safety Standards
- Implementing Toyota SMS System
- Conducting and correcting issues from safety audits
- Communicating major issues and countermeasures to the Executive Team
- Developing and managing plans to achieve Hoshin targets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, health, or related field
- Experience with ergonomic evaluations and quantification of results
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a safety or safety-related role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with health and safety regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, health, or related field

- Experience in a safety or safety-related role

Skills

- Technical safety training or certifications
- Technical chemical training or certifications
- Experience in a Toyota Safety role or related Toyota field
