Safety Analyst
About the role
The Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) professional plays a critical role in creating a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace for our employees. This position is responsible for ensuring company facilities and operations meet all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements related to employee safety, environmental standards, and transportation safety.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and maintain safety plans and documentation, including identifying trends and areas of opportunities regarding employee safety.
- Conduct Incident Investigations for lost time injuries.
- Aid with PPE compliance requirements.
- Support compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, industry, and company requirements (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
- Comfortable presenting material to small groups in person, on the phone, and via video conference.
- Pursue continuous improvement in safety monitoring and recordkeeping / data management systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Compile, analyze, and interpret accident and incident data.
- Conduct on-site facility audits/inspections in support of EH&S compliance requirements and ensure appropriate escalations in a timely manner.
- Occasional Travel Required (30%).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Safety and Health, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in EH&S field.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills – both verbal and written.
- Strong PC skills required, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Experience with hazard analysis, risk mitigation, behavioral analysis preferred.
Skills
- Experience supporting Safety functions for a telecommunications company or utility with multiple locations is a plus.

Pay
The starting compensation range for this job is $43,500 to $53,800. Our compensation approach is designed to be fair and competitive. Pay for this role is based on factors such as your experience, skills, education, and location.
