Analyst

About the role

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring an Analyst for a temporary assignment in Saline, Michigan. This is a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial management reporting and analysis for assigned functional groups, sub-groups, and/or profit elements
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses comparing actual results to projections
• Partner with operational teams to align financial projections with operational objectives and business drivers
• Perform cost-benefit analyses to support business cases, prioritization, and decision-making
• Develop data-driven analyses to identify risks and opportunities and model alternative action plans
• Support management of financial and cost data structures within corporate systems
• Execute assigned elements of the internal control program within functional areas
• Apply corporate accounting policies and collaborate with accounting, tax, and consolidation teams to ensure compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications / What You Bring (Must Haves)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another analytical field (or equivalent work experience)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related finance roles with progressive responsibility
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Experience supporting projects involving budget/financial reporting and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated aptitude and desire to learn and apply emerging technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA and/or MBA
• Experience with data analysis, financial modeling, management reporting, and cost-benefit analysis
• Hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI
• Experience working in cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders

Pay

The pay range for this role is between $64 - $69/Hr.
