Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Alternative Asset Services contact for client relationship managers at Northern Trust, handling all client-related inquiries regarding alternative investments.
- Monitor, resolve, and respond to inquiries from internal and external parties, including pulling and interpreting data, and preparing analysis to meet client valuation expectations.
- Manage assigned daily tasks to ensure day-to-day deliverables are met while working effectively in a team environment.
- Consistently review and assess processes to identify process improvements for increased team efficiency.
- Participate actively in department projects and initiatives, using initiative to address routine issues and referring more complex problems to supervisors or experts.
Requirements
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Capital Markets, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Commingles Funds, Valuation Reporting, and Reconciliation Principles, and a background in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
Qualifications
- A college degree required, with an emphasis in Finance & Accounting preferred.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of Capital Markets concepts.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $43,200 - $64,800 USD. The salary is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The work schedule will align with Northern Trust's Chicago office hours, typically starting at 6:30am or 7:30am, depending on Daylight Saving Time.
