Analyst 3, Warehouse & Materials

Job Description

• Developing and implementing inventory strategies to optimize cost management and maintain efficient warehouse operations
• Conducting advanced training for personnel on inventory management, control policies, and procedural compliance
• Establishing robust inventory and warehouse performance metrics, and monitoring them to ensure goal alignment
• Analyzing complex system data to discern trends and patterns, collaborating with management for process improvements
• Enhancing warehouse efficiency and productivity through in-depth data analysis, and providing advanced inventory recording tools
• Building and sustaining a comprehensive demand and inventory management database for strategic forecasting and purchasing
• Managing vendor-held equipment, performing routine audits, and ensuring database accuracy consistently exceeds 98%
• Oversight of the logistics of shipping and distribution, negotiating with vendors for favorable rates and timely deliveries
• Preparation and analysis of various reports to track improvements in metrics, and reconciliation of data to maintain reporting accuracy
• Collaboration with other departments to identify operational needs, prioritize initiatives, and develop fulfillment management solutions

Qualifications

• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
