Material/Warehouse Operator 3

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative and physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, staging and supplying materials (raw, work-in-process and finished goods), parts and supplies, to operators, workstations and distribution center
• Prepares goods for shipment to the distribution center
• Completes all necessary SAP Training to obtain the necessary profiles
• May be responsible for ordering required materials from outside vendors and offloading all deliveries from outside vendors and doing goods receipts for the deliveries
• Physically locates the materials in the warehouse and then performs transactions in SAP to locate them in the system
• Performs bin to bin transfers for all moves from the warehouse to the PSA’s
• Runs Material Staging in SAP
• Evaluates all production schedules and determines materials needed from outside vendors
• Maintains required levels of materials in the various PSA’s
• Is knowledgeable of receiving and/or distribution functions, familiar with computer warehousing system and may be required to use UPS systems
• May be responsible for conducting cycle counts to maintain accurate inventories
• Uses independent judgment in troubleshooting and problem solving under little/no supervision
• Provides support to lead and/or supervisor when necessary
• Provides support on special projects
• Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Requirements

• High School degree required with 2 years warehouse experience with minimum 1 year SAP experience required
• Experience in a regulated environment required
• Previous work experience with the use of material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, shrink wrapper) Forklift experience required
• Extensive knowledge of SAP required

• Ability to work on assignments that are manual and routine in nature with the skill to recognize any deviations from specification
• Can effectively work in a team setting and communicate effectively across the department
• Must be able to maintain neat, accurate and complete records and logs, both manually and/or electronically on a personal computer
• Must be able to effectively manage frequent assignment changes

Pay

$22.80 - $36.40 USD Hourly
