The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Center for Health Statistics section is recruiting for an Amendments Office Specialist (Office Specialist 2).

Responsibilities
- Support vital records amendment operations by reviewing, preparing, scanning, and distributing customer requests.
- Enter amendment orders into the state vital records system.
- Manage incoming communications through voicemail and email.
- Provide customers with timely and accurate information regarding their amendment requests.
- Ensure amended vital records are printed and mailed.
- Retrieve, file, and refile records with precision.
- Assist program staff with a variety of office support tasks essential to maintaining effective and efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.
- An associate degree in any field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and screen applications and documents to ensure they meet specific requirements.
- Prowess in understanding and consistently applying complex procedures, laws, and rules, to guarantee accuracy in processing vital record amendments.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat applications for processing documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting effectively with diverse colleagues and a diverse customer base.
- Capacity to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
