Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, management, and oversight of nursing practice and clinical care delivery.
  • Cook up and supervise the assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across pediatric specialties to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and material resources are available to support patient needs.
  • Mentor and support clinical staff, fostering a positive, compliant, and ethical work environment.
  • Adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
  • Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
  • Aid in clinical problem-solving and operational challenges to promote high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Two years experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Pediatric Oncology or Infusion Room experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
