About the Role

The Nurse Manager - Ambulatory oversees multiple clinical areas, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compassionate care in ambulatory and procedural settings.

Responsibilities

• Implement the organization’s vision, mission, and values within the nursing department.
• Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate operational, fiscal, and personnel activities.
• Manage clinical staff, including nurse supervisors, and oversee budgeting and resource allocation.
• Promote staff development and maintain a professional, growth-oriented environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and facilitate communication across disciplines.
• Participate in strategic planning and organizational goal attainment.
• Ensure compliance with current standards of practice and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Current RN license and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).

Preferred Skills

• Advanced nursing degrees (e.g., DNP, MSN).
• Specialty experience and management background.
