Ambulatory Clinical Tech Family Internal and Pediatric Medicine

ICCB Primary Care Clinic is the largest primary care practice within the medical group, serving approximately 300 patients each day. The clinic provides comprehensive family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatric care.

Medical Assistants joining our team are expected to be proficient in both clinical and clerical responsibilities, including administering adult and pediatric immunizations. Responsibilities

• Act as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care.
• Perform basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team.
• Room patients, collect vitals, and assist in minor office procedures.
• Manage EPIC In Basket work.
• Process FMLA and short-term Disability work.
• Answer phones.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required within 90 days)
