About the Practice
Our team specializes in children’s diabetes, thyroid concerns, hormones, and a variety of other endocrinology concerns in children. The office consists of about 50 team members, including Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Registered Nurses (RN), Certified Diabetic Educators, Registered Dieticians, Social Workers, Medical Assistants, Ambulatory Clinical Technicians, and other key players. About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering a wide range of care options to the communities we serve. With over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, team members have opportunities to explore various interests or specialize in a specific area.
Responsibilities
- Act as a team member in delivering quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Perform basic skills per department guidelines and policies, communicating observations to the healthcare team.
- Room patients, collect vitals, and assist in minor office procedures.
- Manage EPIC In Basket work.
- Process FMLA and short-term Disability paperwork.
- Answer phones.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required within 90 days of hire).
