About the role
Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team. Includes rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures. Responsibilities also encompass EPIC In basket work, processing FMLA and short-term Disability work, and answering phones.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 90 days
