About the role
Willis Knighton is seeking a National Registry EMT - Basic.
Responsibilities
- Attend patients transported by the Willis Knighton Ambulance service.
- Ensure ambulance cleanliness and proper equipment and medical supplies.
- Keep a ready response vehicle for patient transport daily.
- Work cooperatively with other transport team members.
- Demonstrate good public relations skills in dealing with physicians, nurses, hospitals, and referral agencies.
- Maintain professional behavior and represent Willis Knighton in a positive manner.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification.
- Able to obtain a Louisiana license.
- An appropriate certification level for this position.
- Clear chauffeurs driver's license.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
