Ambassador-LGH, Full time, 3pm-11pm & rotating shifts

About the role

The Ambassador transports or guides patients and visitors in a safe and timely manner to their designated site, with extreme emphasis on customer service and satisfaction with every patient, visitor, or co-worker encounter.

Responsibilities

• Help assist patients and visitors all over the hospital
• Plan, design, organize, implement, and evaluate the patient transport system within Centra
• Recognize, develop, and implement solutions to transportation needs within the facilities
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Recognize changes or abnormalities in patient condition and report same
• Interact and communicate information and ideas to all levels of personnel within the organization
• Intervene in conflicts with personnel, patients, and other customers as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
• Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 6 months of hire

Pay

Salary Range: $15.90 - $22.26 / Hour
