Job Summary
Creates new and expanded opportunities for alumni involvement that foster positive engagement between alumni and the university, resulting in alumni giving back their time, talent, and treasure.
Maintains and updates the alumni database to ensure accurate records of alumni information, engagement, and contributions.
Tracks and analyzes alumni engagement metrics and provides regular reports to the Director of Alumni Relations on program effectiveness and alumni feedback.
Creates and manages alumni communications, including newsletters, social media updates, and event invitations to keep alumni informed and engaged.
Organizes and executes alumni events, such as signature events, networking events, and guest speaker series, ensuring a positive experience for attendees. Collaborates with the events team to support alumni-related events.
Serves as a proxy for Travel Authorizations (TARs) and Expense Reports (ERs), assisting with coordination, processing, and related administrative support.
Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in higher education, alumni relations, development, event management, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience with engagement and volunteer management in a non-profit organization, preferably in higher education.
- Demonstrated proficiency in alumni engagement, marketing, and social media.
