Responsibilities
- Plan and implement a program to facilitate the involvement of patients and their family with their local recovering community upon their transfer to Continuing Care.
- Plans, organizes, and implements the marketing, sales and community relations efforts system-wide within Bradford and in the recovery community.
- Know and abide by the general provisions of 42 CFR Part 2, “Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records”; and 45 CFR “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act”.
- Establish and update a list of Alumni willing to actively serve as “Bridge Partners”.

- Coordinate the assigning of recent “graduates to a Bridge Partner” in or near their home community.
- Plan and coordinate local activities in conjunction with alumni groups and C.C.
- Work with the Corporate Marketing Director to publish a quarterly newsletter for distribution to involved alumni, EAP’s, etc.
- Maintain a mailing list of alumni for use by local facilities, alumni groups, etc.
- Serve as liaison to alumni groups.
- Assures actualization of Bradford Marketing philosophy.
- Support local Bradford volunteer/alumni coordinators.
- Coordinates Recharge Events and Banquets for Alumni and Continuing Care.
- Creates community recovery events throughout the communities Bradford serves.
- Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness as to perform the job in a safe manner.
- Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, managers, clients and prospective clients.
- Regular attendance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or related field preferred.
- Five years of marketing experience required.
- Minimum 4 years experience in chemical dependency treatment setting.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Skilled in use of office equipment (i.e., computer, fax machine, copy machine) and computer technology.
- Good organizational skills and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to make presentations before groups.
- Able to see in each eye and hear (hearing aid acceptable).
- Valid Driver's License.
- Able to walk three to four miles per eight hour shift.
- Able to lift marketing display weighing approximately 50 lbs.
- If recovering, must have four (2) years of continuous, verifiable abstinence.
