Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on CNG and RNG station equipment, including compressors, dispensers, pumps, actuators, dryers, and piping systems.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repair work involving wiring, motor control circuits, transducers, PLCs, and sensors.
- Inspect, maintain, and adjust mechanical systems such as valves, filters, heat exchangers, and intercoolers for safe and optimal performance.
- Identify and execute both corrective and proactive maintenance actions to prevent system downtime.
- Maintain detailed service records and accurately log data such as pressures, voltages, and flow rates while tracking work performed and parts used.
- Ensure fueling locations meet high standards of safety, appearance, and cleanliness, including light maintenance of surfaces and grounds.
- Collaborate with other technicians, dispatch, and operations staff to support station performance and reliability.
- Participate in periodic on-call rotation for emergency response and support activities outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; post-secondary technical training or certification would be an asset.
- 3–5 years of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation experience—preferably in CNG, RNG, LNG, LCNG, or related alternative energy systems.
- Working knowledge of compressors, dryers, storage tanks, pumps, valves, and control systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to document service activity using digital tools and maintenance software.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills, with a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and availability to travel to sites as required.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues including motors, conduit, relays, frequency drives, sensors, and PLC logic.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations relevant to alternative fueling systems.
- Experience with industry-standard tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Full-time, day-shift position (Monday through Friday).
