Parts Technician

Responsibilities

• Supports daily parts department operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control for aviation materials.
• Ensures compliance with FAA regulations and hazardous materials requirements while supporting internal customer requests.
• Processing of internal parts requests, vendor repair tracking, core/warranty returns, invoicing, and billing support activities.
• Coordination of inventory organization, parts location assignments, shelf-life-controlled inventory, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities.
• Support of work order opening and estimate preparation activities as backup support to the Service Administrator.
• Compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements while promoting a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in parts, logistics, warehouse, aviation support, or related military supply/logistics environments preferred.
• Experience with shipping/receiving, inventory control, hazardous materials handling, and aviation parts processes preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time-management, and internal customer support skills.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds and support physically active warehouse/shop operations.

Pay Range

The pay range is $26 - $31 per hour depending on experience. Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
