About the role
The Alternative Exposure grant program supports independent, self-organized work of artists and small groups in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and/or presentation of artist-led projects and programs open to the public.
- Fund a variety of activities including new exhibitions, independent art spaces, public art projects, events, publications, artist residencies, and more.
Requirements
- Grants of up to $5,000 each.
- Projects must present the work of more than one artist.
- Artists or groups must be independent and self-organized.
- Projects should be open to the public.
- Projects must be supported by the Alternative Exposure grant program.
- Projects cannot be presented by 501c3 nonprofit organizations.
- Funds will not be distributed via fiscal sponsors.
