About the role

We are seeking an AYA ultrasound contractor with strong experience in breast imaging as the primary priority, including breast ultrasound for diagnostic and screening workflows and proven competency assisting with or performing ultrasound-guided breast biopsies in a high-volume setting; candidates must be comfortable working closely with radiologists and delivering patient-centered care. As a secondary requirement, the technologist should also be proficient in general ultrasound, including abdominal, thyroid, pelvic (transabdominal and transvaginal), and vascular studies (both venous and arterial Doppler).

Responsibilities

• Proven competency assisting with or performing ultrasound-guided breast biopsies in a high-volume setting
• Comfortable working closely with radiologists and delivering patient-centered care
• Proficient in general ultrasound, including abdominal, thyroid, pelvic (transabdominal and transvaginal), and vascular studies (both venous and arterial Doppler)

Qualifications

• 5 years of recent experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Effective adaptation to varying workflows and equipment
• ARDMS certification (with Breast certification strongly preferred, along with Abdomen and OB/GYN)
• RVT is preferred for vascular components
• BLS required
