Primary & Secondary Schooling (K-12) Educational Resources
- Teach assigned classroom, lab, or online courses.
- Create and update course syllabi to ensure compliance with college and accreditation requirements.
- Create and use appropriate assessment tools to measure course effectiveness and student outcomes.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate classroom records, including attendance and grades.
- Hold office hours to assist and advise students.
- Communicate regularly with faculty, library services, and academic departments.
Education
- Participate in departmental meetings, college committees, and professional development activities.
- Support the mission, vision, and strategic initiatives of Mid Michigan College.
- Adhere to college policies, procedures, and the Ethics for Teaching Professionals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications
- Education, Certification, and Licensure: Health - Minimum of an Associate degree in Medical Assisting required. Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health, Health Care Education, Health Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: One to three years of college-level teaching experience in an Allied Health discipline strongly preferred. Experience with online instruction is desirable. Prior experience in a community college environment preferred.

- Ability to create and deliver engaging course content that fosters student learning.
