About the role
The successful candidate will teach College Credit Courses as assigned, focusing on developing and delivering instruction, designing assignments and assessments, and providing timely feedback to students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and post course syllabi in accordance with the College’s requirements.
- Prepare and deliver class, studio, clinical, or lab instruction.
- Plan and deliver instruction using assigned instructional materials.
- Create or modify assignments, assessments, and other course materials.
- Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Engage in professional development opportunities.
- Utilize the College’s Online Learning Management System (CANVAS).
- Maintain open communication with students, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Contribute to curriculum improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Health Sciences, closely-related healthcare field, interdisciplinary degree with a healthcare specialization, Nursing, or closely-related field.
- At least 18 graduate hours in the above fields.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Professional certification desired.

Pay
Adjunct faculty are paid according to Seminole State College’s Non-Bargaining Unit Salary Schedule, based on the instructor’s highest degree earned.
