Adjunct Faculty Requirements

  • Maintain direct and proactive contact with student advisees through meetings and group sessions.
  • Identify and address barriers to student success, set and review academic and career goals, and develop action plans for student persistence to graduation.
  • Discuss curriculum, course sequencing, academic status, and long-term career planning with students.
  • Assist students with registration and course selection to optimize course sequencing for graduation.
  • Monitor academic progress, analyze progress reports, and refer students to relevant resources.
  • Document student information and update the student information system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address student challenges and needs.

Required Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in an allied health field is required.
  • A current national recognized certification or valid license is required (examples: MT, RT, RN, MSN, MD, DC, etc.).
  • Clinical classes may accept a bachelor’s degree with a license (RN or MT).
  • Adjuncts sign a contract with the Dean outlining class details, contact hours, dates, and time.
  • Campus-based classes are 15 weeks long and paid bi-monthly over an 8-paycheck period.
  • The salary range for this position is $825.00 - $2,300.00.

Pay

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position. The selected candidate’s actual base pay will be determined based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At Bryant & Stratton College, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.

Schedule

Campus-based classes are 15 weeks long and paid bi-monthly over an 8-paycheck period.
