About the role
The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Allergy and Immunology fellows, other house staff and medical students.
- Experience in the evaluation of the full range of allergic and immunologic diseases is required.
- Selected candidates will join a dedicated team in a dynamic and collaborative academic practice.
Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
- Applicants should be board certified/eligible in Allergy and Immunology.
- The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
- Clinical responsibilities may include working in the outpatient clinics and as an attending on the inpatient service.
Qualifications
- Preferred candidates will have an interest and experience in education and systems improvement initiatives.
Skills
- Proficiency in treating both common and complex allergic and immunologic disorders.
